The Fabric of Courage: a multi-disciplinary salon-style exhibition celebrating FESTAC '77 opened on April 7th, 2024 at The Old Printing Press in Lagos Island, Nigeria. Curated by Somi Kakoma and featuring the photography of Marilyn Nance and Tam Fiofori, the exhibition also featured a sound installation by Chimurenga, a video installation by Somi, and the first public viewing of images from Nigeria's primary FESTAC 77 archive housed at the Center for Black and African Art and Civilization (CBAAC).
